How to become a Product Marketing Manager
To become a Product Marketing Manager you usually need a bachelor degree in marketing, mass communications, business management or a related field.
Graduate with a bachelor degree in marketing, mass communications, business management or a related course. Having an MBA or a master’s degree in marketing may be an advantage.
Gain at least five to eight years’ worth of relevant experience in a leadership role.
Seek expertise in B2B (business-to-business) or B2C (business-to-consumer) marketing.
After gaining experience as a Product Marketing Manager, consider progressing to a role such as Senior Product Marketing Manager, Director of Product Marketing, or Vice-President of Product Marketing.
