Tasks and duties
- Operating ultrasound equipment to produce and record images according to a Doctor's request.
- Assessing and interpreting diagnostic images to provide preliminary findings for Doctors.
- Establishing and maintaining effective communication with patients to ensure a comfortable and effective scanning process.
- Maintaining patients' records and add medical notes related to the ultrasound procedure.
- Performing routine maintenance on sonographic equipment to ensure it's operational and safe.
- Keeping up to date with advancements in sonography through continuing education and professional development activities.
- Adhering to health and safety standards and protocols to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure.
